🛡️ Protection Plans for Free & Discounted Appliances

What’s New?

Before, if a product’s price was set to $0.00 (like when bundled into a premium package), sales teams couldn’t attach a protection plan. Now, you can add a protection plan to free or heavily discounted appliances — as long as there’s a valid reference price in the Protection Plan Settings. 🎉

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • When Product Price = $0.00
    • The system checks the Protection Plan Settings for a valid price.
    • If found, that price decides which protection plans are available.
    • You simply pick the plan you want (same as before).
  • When No Price Exists Anywhere
    • Sales users won’t see the option to add a plan.
    • Managers & Super Admins can still assign a plan manually (special permission).
  • Tooltips You'll See
    • For sales users: “No pricing available. Only Managers or Admins can assign a protection plan to this item.
    • For admins: “No price found in system. You may select the protection plan manually due to your access level.

📸 Where You’ll See It:

  • Quote & Order pages when working with bundled or discounted appliances.
  • Plan selector behavior changes depending on user role (Sales vs Manager/Admin).

📝 Update: Notes Now Sorted by Time, Not Category

What’s New?

Previously, notes inside Quotes and Orders were split into categories (Delivery, Customer, Company). That meant you had to check multiple sections to see the latest updates — which made it easy to miss something important.

Now, all notes appear in one single timeline, sorted from newest to oldest, so you can always see the latest activity at a glance. 🎉

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • One Stream, All Notes → No more jumping between categories. Every note is shown in one continuous list.
  • Sorted by Time → Newest notes always appear at the top.
  • Still Easy to Tell Apart → Notes keep their background colors to indicate type.
  • Quick Type Badges → Each note shows a small badge in the top-left (Delivery, Customer, Company) before the user’s name. The badge color matches the note’s background for quick scanning.

📸 Where You’ll See It:

  • Quotes → Notes section
  • Orders → Notes section

🧾 Update: Smarter Damage Allowances on Invoices

What’s New?

Until now, invoices had a “With Damage Waiver” print option that let users choose whether or not to show damage allowances. This often hid important info and made record-keeping messy.

We’ve simplified the process: damage allowances now always appear on invoices — and with way more useful detail. 🎉

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • No More Extra Button → The “With Damage Waiver” print option is gone. Every invoice automatically includes damage allowances if they exist.
  • Richer Details → The Damage Allowance Details pop-up now shows:
    • Description of the damage
    • Model & serial number of the affected item (or item description if “Other”)
    • Refund amount offered
    • Credit amount applied
    • Driver’s name
    • Date accepted

📸 Where You’ll See It:

  • Order Page → Damage Allowance Details pop-up
  • All Invoice Prints → with/without model number, with/without pricing — damage allowances are always included

🏡 New Report: Home Visit & Surveys

What’s New?

Tracking Home Visits used to be a headache — there was no easy way to find them in reports. Sales reps and Customer Service teams had to dig through orders manually just to check survey notes, follow up with customers, or coordinate pickups.

Now, there’s a dedicated Home Visit & Surveys Report that brings all this information into one place. 🎉

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • New Report Location → Find it under the Reports menu.
  • Key Columns at a Glance → Includes:
    • Order Date & Number
    • Customer Name & Phone Number
    • Home Visit Type (Survey or Service)
    • Status (Pending or Completed)
    • Scheduled/Completed Date
    • Appliance Delivery Date
    • Salesperson
    • Surveyor Name (who did the work)
  • View Details → Each row has an eyeball icon 🔍 to quickly open full details (same as in the Home Visit History section).
  • Familiar Look → The Home Visit Type shows up as bubbles with links, just like you see in the Customer Detail Page.

📸 Where You’ll See It

  • Reports → Home Visit & Surveys
  • Links and bubbles behave consistently with the Customer Detail Page

🤔 “Customer Unsure” Flow for POS Orders

What’s New?

You can now mark an order as “Customer Unsure” during fulfillment. When this is selected, a note is required — making it easier to track uncertain deliveries and keep everyone in the loop!

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • On the Quote and Order Page:
    • When you select “Customer Unsure” in the fulfillment options, a note field will pop up.
    • You must enter a note before saving — no more skipping important details!
    • The note is saved under the order’s notes section, tagged as Customer Unsure for easy tracking.
  • On the Reports Page:
    • Orders marked as Customer Unsure are now visible in a dedicated report for quick follow-up and management review.
    • Uncertainty notes are included in order summaries and customer service dashboards.
  • On the PDF Invoice:
    • If an order is marked as Customer Unsure, the note appears on the invoice for full transparency.

📸 Where You’ll See It

  • “Customer Unsure” option in the fulfillment dropdown
  • Required note input field when selected
  • Tag and note in the order details and reports

💸 Flexible Fallback Pricing Rules

What’s New?

Before this update, each brand could only have one Sale Price rule, and if it failed (e.g., returned $0), the system fell back to a rigid default (MAP → LRP → MSRP). That wasn’t always ideal — leaving merchants with manual fixes, compliance headaches, or mispricing issues.

Now, you can set up to five custom fallback pricing rules 🎉. This means you decide the exact order of price sources the system should check when your main Sale Price isn’t available.

💡 Here’s How It Works:

  • In the Sale Price Rule section, you’ll see a new “Additional Pricing Rules” stack.
  • Add up to five fallback rules using supported price sources:
    • MAP
    • PMAP
    • LAP
    • LRP
    • UMRP
    • MSRP
    • Competitor Price
  • Drag and reorder rules to set your preferred priority.
  • The system will automatically use the first valid price it finds in your list.
  • Once you add fallback rules, the old MAP Compliance toggle is turned off (to avoid conflicts).

👌 Why You’ll Love It:

  • Full control over your brand’s pricing hierarchy.
  • No more manual overrides when prices come back as $0.
  • Flexibility to prioritize competitor pricing, MAP, or other sources — your choice!

📸 Where You’ll See It:

  • Sale Price Rule section → new “Additional Pricing Rules” area.
  • Brand configuration page → drag-and-drop fallback priorities.

⚠️ Good to Know:

  • Maximum of 5 fallback rules per brand.
  • Applies only to Sale Price Rule (not Regular Price).
  • If no fallback rules are set, the system still uses the old default logic.
